A New National Program to Support Canadian AQHA Sanctioned Shows and Amateur Exhibitors - The Canadian Quarter Horse Association (CQHA), the Canadian affiliate of the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA), and representative of the largest breed population within the Canadian herd, is pleased to announce the launch of the Canadian National Amateur Team Tournament (CNATT). This program is the first of its kind and its purpose is to nurture Canada’s quarter horse show industry as we recover from the effects of the last two years.

Ukrainian equestrians and more than 100,000 horses caught up in the war in Ukraine need help to survive under desperate conditions because of the tragic conflict. The horses have no ability to seek safety or flee without help. The need is urgent.

More veterinary students from British Columbia will be attending the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM) on the University of Saskatchewan campus this August, following an investment from the Province of BC to double the number of subsidized seats for the first time in more than a decade.
