University of Calgary

Ever thought of becoming a veterinarian?

Do you love animals big and small?

This week-long online camp will introduce you to some of the skills and knowledge veterinarians need to take care of a variety of species.

Provided by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Calgary, you’ll have fun learning from veterinary students each day in two, one-hour live (online) interactive sessions, scheduled at approximately 9-10am and 2-3pm (Mountain Time). In between those times, there will be online content to explore and the opportunity to take part in some great hands-on activities at home (total content provided will be approximately four to six hours a day).

You will also receive a fabulous swag bag of goodies that includes a genuine veterinarian scrub top and materials for the at-home activities.

The program is directed at students entering grades 7 through 9, but the 2021 Online Vet Camps will also accept keen and enthusiastic grade 6 students!

For more information and to register, visit UCVM Veterinary Camps 2021

Please note: If you register within two weeks of the camp start date your swag bag may be delayed.
