Applications for Assistance - REOPENED

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Alberta Equestrian Federation, along with leading industry partners, launched “Alberta Equine Partners for the Herd,” a fundraising initiative earlier this year to support the equestrian community in Alberta during these difficult and uncertain times.

With Alberta in lockdown once again, the decision has been made to reopen applications for assistance. We are committed to the entire Alberta Equine Community – humans and herd – whether members or not. Please share with everyone in your network!

Apply for Assistance Until January 11th, 2021

Due to the limited amount of funds available, Alberta Equine Partners for the Herd will only provide assistance to cover expenses directly related to the immediate needs of equine care. The funding assistance is meant for individuals, not businesses.

The AEF will help direct people to government programs and/or legal/accounting advice to source funds for other expenses. Please view our COVID-19 page under the heading "Government Resources & Information" for further information.
