An Alberta horse rescued after six days in a sewage pit has died. The 17-year-old Morgan stallion named Digger, owned by Lynn Danyluk of Waskatenau, north of Edmonton, Alberta, died on Sunday morning, October 7, 2017, after being hoisted from the pit the previous Friday.

After raising £500,000 through a crowd-funding campaign, Irish rider Jonty Evans gets to keep Cooley Rorkes Drift, known to his friends as “Art” in his stable.
