Ontario’s Newest Horse Campground

Saugeen Bluffs is located in the heart of Bruce County in Southern Ontario. This is the third horse campground in the province, and it includes an entire area designated for horse camping enthusiasts with 42 spacious sites tucked in amongst towering hardwoods. In addition, there are three bunkies and two RVs available to rent.

Plans for a 100 x 200-foot event ring are also underway. The event ring will be available for rent for groups and individuals to host clinics and workshops, and for campers to warm up their horses before riding.

There are over 15 km of challenging riding trails in mature woodlands for campers or for day rides, with plans to expand over the season. The park also features a shower building, laundromat, camp store, and an Activity Centre. There is a large picnic shelter available to horse campers, as well as planned activities throughout the summer season. Several other trails within a short distance make Saugeen Bluffs a great week-long destination.

The park is quaint and charming, located approximately four km north of the Village of Paisley and only a 15 minute drive from the Lake Huron Shoreline and sandy beaches. In addition there are plenty of shopping opportunities in Paisley, Port Elgin, and Southampton.
