Business & Product Profiles

Interviewed by Melanie Huggett - Karren Winther is a realtor with RE/MAX Aldercenter Realty in Aldergrove, BC, where she helps horse lovers realize their dreams of owning that perfect equestrian property, whether it’s a small hobby farm or a large stable facility. An avid horsewoman herself, competing in National Reined Cowhorse Association competitions, Karren knows the special requirements necessary for keeping horses that other realtors might overlook.

Interviewed by Melanie Huggett - Sheepskin has become increasingly popular to use with our horses. It can be made into saddle pads, girth covers, halter pads, seatsavers, and other accessories for horse and rider.

Interviewed by Melanie Huggett - Robyn Hood is well known worldwide as a teacher of the Tellington Method, a unique training approach to horses. Hood and her husband Phil Pretty also run the Icelandic Horse Farm near Vernon, BC. As some of the earliest breeders and importers of Icelandic Horses, they have 33 years of experience breeding this naturally gaited breed. Both Hood and Pretty sat down with me to discuss the Tellington Method and their Icelandic Horses.

Interviewed by Melanie Huggett - VICTORIA SADDLERY - For horse people, often one of our favorite pastimes is shopping for new tack or apparel at a local tack store. And whether a recreational rider or a top competitor, most riders want to use quality products on their horses.
