SASKATOON, SK, October 31, 2022 – Prairieland organizers and the Saskatchewan Equine Expo committee would like to thank their partners, the Saskatchewan Horse Federation, and the Western College of Veterinary Medicine, as well as the sponsors, media and volunteers, all of whom helped make the 10th Annual Saskatchewan Equine Expo such a wonderful success.

Prairieland hosted over 5,000 guests throughout the four-day event as equine enthusiasts celebrated their love of all things equine with entertainment, demonstrations, competitions, equine education, and an industry-specific trade show, which also included a new equine art show.

This year was the first year the Saskatchewan Equine Expo occurred during its new fall dates, as opposed to it’s regular mid-winter, February weekend. This resulted in a positive response as travelers and attendees had a warmer, safer experience due to nice weather.

We were happy to welcome back renowned clinician, Jonathan Field, who shared his knowledge and advice at the Information Theatre as well as showcased his expert horsemanship in the arena from Friday through Sunday. Additionally, international show jumping veteran, Jaclyn Duff, was featured as our second clinician, offering a hunter/jumper clinic to registered participants who then continued to learn and demonstrate their skills in front of the audience both Friday and Saturday in the Ag Center arena.
