In an effort to reduce the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), the cancellation of equestrian events within Canada and the United States has only just begun. The extent of the economic impact on the equestrian industry is yet to be determined. With government-mandated bans and warnings from the World Health Organization of the seriousness of this pandemic, many organizations are left with no choice but to cancel or postpone their events, while others are taking a pro-active approach to protect the community.
