Equine-facilitated wellness practitioner Anastasia Hirst believes in the value of equine therapy. She has spent seven years working at Generation Farms in Nanaimo, BC, which offers integrative healing opportunities using horses. 

Now Hirst and her fiancé, fellow Gabriola Island resident and filmmaker John Fulton, have embarked on a tour across North America to record footage to illustrate the therapeutic power of horses for their upcoming documentary, Equus: Healing Through Horses. The first episode could air in the summer of 2018.
