Inaugural Atlantic Canada Equestrian Championships Set for Summer and Fall 2017

The Presidents of Atlantic Canada’s Provincial/Territorial Sport Organizations (PTSOs) are pleased to announce that the inaugural Atlantic Canadian Equestrian (ACE) Championships will take place in the late summer and early fall of 2017, featuring the four disciplines of dressage, eventing, jumping and reining.

Hugh’s music video for “I Just Can’t Figure You Out” features two beautiful dressage horses ridden in an idyllic setting. Both horse and rider are impeccably turned out, although we would prefer to see the riders with helmets on their heads. The horses are ridden through some very advanced dressage moves, including half-passes and tempe changes.

Langley Horse’s Visit Makes for Unforgettable Experience for Hospital Patient

Having been in the hospital for over five months, Jim Clarkson’s first trip outside was made even better with some four-legged visitors. Jim, whose health has taken a turn for the worse, has a soft spot for horses, having spent 20 years volunteering with Langley’s Pacific Riding for Developing Abilities.

The team from Gerard Performance Horses in Michigan created their very own version embracing the “tight pants” aka breeches we have all spent our fair share of time in.

I have never been a small person. When I used to run races I would joke that I was not built to run, but rather to carry heavy things and bear children. I’m sure my humour was in part to cover up my insecurities about my own body, its shape, and its size. I would like to think that I have come to terms with it, but in all honesty I know that this will likely be a lifelong battle.
