Metro the Painting Racehorse

Painted by Metro, Racehorse, OTTB, Art, Charity

A knee injury put an end to the racing career of Metro Meteor who was once one of the fastest Turf Sprinters at Belmont and Saratoga. Metro, who had no chance of a secondary career as a pleasure horse was luckily adopted by Ron and Wendy Krajewski. After a discovery by Ron that Metro liked to bob his head for attention he thought the horse might like to paint. Metro’s paintings, which can be purchased on his website Painted by Metro, have raised over $80,000 for horses in need with 50 percent of each painting sold going to New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program and Gentle Giants Draft Horse Rescue.
