April 6 – 8, 2018

The Can-Am All Breeds Equine Expo is returning to the Markham Fairgrounds for the 2018 show. Eastern Canada’s premier equine event will take place April 6 to 8, 2018 bringing together thousands of horse lovers and industry partners all under one roof for a great weekend for everyone from the seasoned horse person to the weekend rider and everything in between. The Can-Am Equine Expo will continue to feature a lineup of international clinicians, family-fun entertainment and performances, all-indoor shopping, and free on-site parking.

Our new roster of clinicians includes internationally known horse trainer and entertainer Dan James of Double Dan Horsemanship, who will push the limits of horsemanship and entertainment with eye-opening clinics and performances during the Evening Extravaganza. Can-Am will be welcoming David Cowley to this year’s line-up, who will be using his two-way trust horsemanship skills to start a young horse. Olympic Dressage rider Cindy Ishoy will be sharing her expertise with attendees in the presentation ring all weekend long. With his specialty in developing all levels of hunters and jumpers, grand prix show jumper Hyde Moffatt will be presenting clinics in the main arena and lecture room. Ontario’s highest money earner in the National Reining Horse Association, Loris Epis, will once again be joining the lineup of clinicians.

The Evening Extravaganza show is always a highlight to end a full day at Can-Am. Dan James of Double Dan Horsemanship will be headlining this year’s show, bringing along his incredibly talented liberty horses combined with comedy acts to entertain the entire audience. The Pony & Saddle Club Challenge will showcase young up-and-coming equestrians as they’re challenged through a number of obstacles and events. The Canadian Cowgirls will also perform during the show, dazzling the audience with their musical performance of precision riding with stunning costumes, and dangerous and daring maneuvers. Along with these great acts the show will also feature a battle-of-the-breeds showcase, trick riding and trick roping, and more. On Saturday April 7 we are excited to welcome back the star of Heartland on CBC, Amber Marshall. This family-fun entertainment show will be one to remember.

Come on out and join us for a weekend of fun, entertainment, education and get in touch with your country roots. For more information, visit the Can-Am Equine Expo website or LIKE us on Facebook.
