The Mane Event, Equine Education and Trade Fair is a family owned and operated business that hosts Equine Expos in British Columbia, Alberta, and has recently expanded to Ontario and Scottsdale, Arizona. We have been in operation since 2004 and started simply because we wanted to educate ourselves and our friends on the many aspects of horse training and the many disciplines available. Our family has owned horses for over 40 years and our two daughters still ride and show competitively.

The Mane Event is a true horse lovers’ mecca where you will enjoy good times, meet up with old friends, and make new ones!

When we started out, all of our family members were either employed in other jobs or attended school on a full-time basis; never in our wildest dreams did we ever imagine these Mane Event Expos would grow to become events that would attract attendees from all across Canada, and even the USA and Europe. Each and every Mane Event is something we all work on and feel very passionate about as a family. Lately The Mane Event has grown to include some non-family staff members in the office, and we are pleased that these people take the Expos as personally as we do.

With clinics and seminars presented by top professionals in a range of disciplines from barrel racing to reining, and driving to dressage, there’s something for everyone at The Mane Event Expos.

Our goal is to ensure that attendees and exhibitors feel the family atmosphere of the Expos, and that attendees feel that they have learned some new things to try with their horses. We are committed to growing and uniting the horse industry in Canada.
