Product Review: EcoLicious Clippin’ Awesome

After Clip Deep Moisture Treatment

Reviewed by April D. Ray

After clipping horses professionally for many years, I find there’s nothing worse than spending hours of back-breaking labour only to reveal a dull and dandruff-covered horse under the hair.

Enter Clippin’ Awesome After Clip Deep Moisture Treatment by EcoLicious, and despair no more! Made to use after clipping, it’s full of organic goodness without silicones, parabens, or artificial fragrances. This product deeply moisturizes the hair coat to bring it back to shiny with the help of camellia, grapeseed, coconut, and vitamin E, as well as lavender essential oil to further condition and protect.

It’s as easy as pouring six ounces into a gallon of warm water and sponging it over the horse’s coat. A skin patch test is recommended, especially for those extra sensitive horses.

I used the product on one of the horses I clipped that had a very thick coat, with lot of dandruff and dry skin underneath. A few swipes of the Clippin’ Awesome and her coat went from dull and lifeless to shiny and new. The smell makes you feel like you’re at the spa, even though you’re actually in the barn covered in freshly clipped and itchy horse hair.

And like all their products, it’s made with human grade ingredients because EcoLicious believes in the best for human and horse. I will be keeping Clippin’ Awesome among my clipping tools for clients’ horses and my own.
