Visitors at Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park in early April got a surprise when witnessing a horse attack an alligator. It was caught on film by Krystal Berry who was obviously shaken after the scuffle. Berry did contact the preserve to check on the animals after the incident and staff reported that both the horse and alligator were unharmed.
