Katie and Jewel Keca, from Grimsby, Ontario have started a journey riding their horses from Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia along the Great Trail to Vancouver, British Columbia. The ride across Canada is admirable on its own but they are doing so to help raise awareness and money for the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides. A GoFundMe campaign was started in January 2017 to help fund the trip and is already fully funded at $5,000, with all remaining proceeds going to the Dog Guides.  To date they estimate they have donated close to $3500 to Dog Guides, and it's not too late to send more donations via their website: Donate
