Retirement homes for horses can be hard to find, but if you’re one of Two-Time US Olympic team gold medalist and FEI World Cup Final winner Beezie Madden’s horses, you’ve got it made. Most recently a fan favourite Cortes ‘C’ will be joining the ranks of many other greats, including Authentic who won three Olympic medals in his career. 

The retirees get to be horses out in the fields at Beezie and John Madden’s farm in Cazenovia N.Y. While they are checked on every day they don’t come into the barn on a daily basis and no longer have to be groomed and turned out impeccably…
