VRDA VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Victoria Riding for the Disabled Association (VRDA) provides a therapeutic riding program for children and adults with disabilities. VRDA offers many opportunities to volunteer including becoming a sidewalker or horse handler, helping with fundraising, and more. If you enjoy horses and people, this would appeal to you.

No experience is necessary, as training is provided. However, volunteers must be 16 years of age or older. Classea are held Monday to Thursday mornings and Tuesday to Thursday afternoons. Training is on Wednesday, January 6, 2010, and classes begin Monday, January 11, 2010.

For more information, contact Sue at 778-426-0506 or vrda@shaw.ca, or visit http://members.shaw.ca/vrda.
